Ingredients of Snow Ball Cookies
- You need 1/2 cup of all purpose flour.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
- You need 2 teaspoons of sooji.
- Prepare 10 tablespoons of ghee (clarified butter).
- It's 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
- You need of Dry fruits or any decorative item for garnishing (optional).
Snow Ball Cookies instructions
- Sieve all the powders together in a mixing bowl.
- Add ghee a tablespoon by tablespoon and knead it into a soft and smooth dough (if it’s cracking or crumbling you may have to add little more ghee).
- Mould small lemon sized balls.
- Heat the oven to 340°F or 171°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Flatten the balls slightly and place on the tray garnish with any item of your choice(I chose to use slit almonds).
- Place in the oven and bake for 16 minutes.
- Baking time may vary according to your oven. Don’t let the cookies turn brown.
- Let the cookies cool down completely for an hour or so, they get crisper.
- You can store them in airtight containers for about 3 days.
